MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian manufacturer of agricultural machines Gomselmash has presented its products at one of Europe's largest expos of agricultural machines and equipment – Agrosalon 2019, which opened in the Slovak city of Nitra on 26 March, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Slovakia told BelTA.
During the opening ceremony Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Slovakia Igor Leshchenya informed those present about the country's economic and industrial potential. The diplomat underlined that Belarus is a major producer of agricultural products, machines, and equipment for agriculture.
The ambassador and Slovak Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Gabriela Matecna examined the Gomselmash exposition during the expo. The minister was familiar with the latest modification of the heavy-duty forage harvester KVK-8060 and the grain harvester KZS-1218A-1. Gomselmash representatives informed Gabriela Matecna about advantages of Belarusian machines and where in Slovakia Gomselmash-made harvesters are already used.
The Agrosalon expo is held every year alternatively in Slovak Nitra or Czech Brno.
